We visited this lounge prior to our flights to Singapore and Sydney. The lounge was cosy with a fair variety of dishes, concentrating on Indian, of course. There was sufficient reading material. We had no complaints and would recommend the lounge to others.
Don't purchase unless you get to the airport and check in your luggage with 3 hours to go. I purchased 6 hours and got 2 hours since I couldn't enter until the Emirates desk opened so I could check my luggage and then go to the Lounge. Once in, difficult to find a chair. Not worth the money I paid.
I felt the room was functional, clean and accessible. It would have been VERY nice to have had a few lounge chairs where I could have laid down since I had a 13 hour layover! It could also have more plug in spots available. It would seem that every chaor should have acess to at least one plug. The people were friendly and helpful.
We booked a 3 hour visit to the Premium Lounge, however it ended up being only about 1 1/4 hours. Our flight departed at 11PM so we weren't actually allowed to enter the airport terminal building security at the entrance until 8PM. Then we had to wait for the airline to open its counter to book our luggage and then move through to the secure area where the Premium Lounge is located. When we arrived at the Lounge found it to be what we had expected - comfortable, good selection of food and drinks along with good service. On arrival at the lounge reception I inquired about using the shower facilities and was advised that there were only 2 ahead of me on the waiting list. No worries I thought. We had to leave for our flight without a shower because it was still unavailable after 1 1/4 hours. Why advertise 3 or 6 hours when you can only do less???
The problem with this offer is that the airline United would not allow us to check in and pass through security until two hours before the flight rendering our 6 hour pass basically worthless. We were stuck in the departure lounge for five hours without food or seating. By the time we were in the departure area there was insufficient time to find and use the lounge before plane embarkation. You are selling a service which is impossible to access.
We had an 8 hour layover in Delhi airport starting at 1:30 in the morning. We were directed to the wrong lounge, more than once. We were sent to 2 different Viator lounges. We were aloud to stay in 1 lounge, 1 hour only. The other lounge was full and we were denied entry. We sat in the airport until we were able to get our boarding passes,3 hours before flight time. Then we went to the lounge connected to our business class ticket. Very disappointing.
The lounge was very comfortable and the selection of food available was excellent. The waiters were very attentive and helpful. Definitely worth using.
not much vegetarian food and drink choices, not sufficient electronic sockets for charging, staff not very aware about Viator's coupon and requested to email them the coupon even showing the e-coupon to them which delayed the entrance process
the sofas and carpets were stingy . could have recling chairs with elevation of legs , or some beds avaiable for people to sleep in if necessary . food was okay . Bathroom was old and needs maintainence done,should have easy acess to internet service , was very very difficult to get connected to WIFOI , IT SHOULD BE AN EASY PROCESS IN THIS ERA
