Very informative! Our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. All around a great time! Highly recommend.

Great day trip to Chichen Itza! Could have used more than 40 minutes at the Cenote way too rushed. Shopping after lunch felt pressured and too much time allowed.

Martin was a wonderful tour guide and happy birthday! The van ride was comfortable and the tour was really interesting and thorough. I felt that we had plenty of time in each location.

The only inconvenience was meeting the bus pickup at 7am at a random supermarket 10-15 minutes away from our beach-side Tulum hotel. We had partly booked the tour because of the supposed hotel pickup. In fact, we'd even input our hotel name when booking. The change of plans was noted in the fine print of our ticket voucher, so we ended up paying additional taxi fees to/from our hotel.

This day trip was amazing! We had just the right amount of time at every location: cenote, lunch, Chichen Itza, and Villadolid. Our tour guide Martin went above and beyond! He truly spoke from his heart when talking about the Mayan people. It was a long drive, however Martin was super knowledgeable and shared a ton of stories throughout the tour. 100 recommend this to everyone!

They claim they pick you up at your hotel but this is not true - I ended up not going because they designated a separate area, and the van already left by the time I called the company to figure it out. I would recommend Mexico Kan Tours if you’re planning any trips in Riviera Maya.

Chichen Itza is a must to see and we had a great guide who is passionate about the history. She was bilingual to such an extent that it was just a little difficult to hear where she changed from Spanish to English and some of the scandinavian travellers felt they would have preferred a single language tour.
The other downside is that from Tulum we had a 2 hour pick up before we got started and I think if we hadn't come straight back to Tulum from the Cenote at the end I too would have been a bit miffed.
That said, the lunch stop and visit to the Mayan cooking area and shop was brilliant. The restaurant was clean, the buffet food tasty and extensive and the staff friendly and helpful.
Our guide warned us that the site at Chichen Itza was full of 3 families of over 1000 souvenir sellers so we were prepared but the continuous sound of fairground type barkers including hundreds selling a conch type thing that sounded like a dog barking is something the custodians need to address. They should take a look at Tulum Ruins where you pass through the Disney and souvenir area on your way in and out but the Mayan historical area is wonderfully relaxing and able to be enjoyed in relative peace.
The Cenote was very interesting too and if it hadn't been raining I think more of us would have walked down inside and swum. Our loss.
Overall a very good trip and one not to be missed.

The tour operator was good.
However, the company that Viator booked through Cancun Vacation Experts was very difficult to get hold of and after 2 days of trying to contact them, when I finally did they provided incorrect pickup information, i.e. said would pickup up at 6:20 AM and the tour operator showed up at the hotel at 7:30 AM.
There was miscommunication between the company that the trip was booked through and the actual tour operator. It seems like there are so many 3rd parties involved and it was unclear who to contact when they showed up an hour late.

The tour itself was good, but a bit rushed. The driver and tour guide were great. Unfortunately, we felt we got ripped off at the Mayan village which is more of a commercial shopping experience. From talking to people at our hotel and exploring other parts of the area, we realized that the cost of items in their store is so overpriced and wish we were told by the tour guide instead of being encouraged to buy and support. Would much rather have preferred to spend my 80USD two small items in local villages, not tourist destinations.

Great tour booked via Viator. Though would recommend that do only Chichen Itza skip the lunch if possible as it becomes too long and tiring. Need more time in Chichen itza. The local company and guide was very knowledgeable although trying to sell local wares at the lunch place which not unusual but can be avoided.

Overall a great trip and must do trip to one of the new seven wonders.

This was great! We were picked up at our hotel. We called the day the before we used our hotel's concierge service to call to get an exact pick up time and location. They were a few minutes late. We rode in a fairly uncomfortable vehicle, but seemed to be the standard van for the area. But there were only 8 of us total in the group, so it wasn't that big of a deal. We stopped somewhere to buy souvenirs and in the city of Valladolid. We then proceeded to our cenote. It was neat, but crowded. I really enjoyed see somewhere filled with beauty. Chichen Itza was absolutely amazing. There were Mayan vendors all over selling things that were almost free. Our tour guide was bilingual and switched back and forth from Spanish to English smoothly and provided a lot of history as well. We loved this trip and would definitely recommend it to all.
