The morning walking tour of Venice was amazing. Susan, our tour guide, was a wealth of information. We learned so much about life in Venice. San Marco was beautiful and she pointed out such interesting details that we would not have know about. The same was true with the Doge Palace. The afternoon tour was okay. Murano was a tourist trap to purchase glass. So was Burano for the lace but the lovely colorful buildings made up for it. Our tour guide was nice but not as informative as Susan was in the morning.

Very good value and wonderful to skip the line at major attractions.

Our guide in the morning walk around Venice was terrific. Informative and pleasant and enables us to skip the long lines on a holiday weekend. Really enjoyed the AM. the afternoon trip to the islands was nice but not as much to see and the guide though pleasant had a tough act to follow. All in all it was a pleasant way to spend the day and we learned a lot about Venice and the Venetians from both guides.

Both Angela and Francesca were very knowledgeable and gave very interesting talks about Venice and its history. We enjoyed the island crafts and the walk through the city.

Susan, our guide for the Doge's Palace and St Mark's, is an art historian and was full of information and made history come to life! We could see a lengthy queue of perhaps an hour's wait. The afternoon trip to Murano took us to a prestigious factory with an excellent demonstration of how they make the glass. Beautiful showroom but a quick walk into a street with little shops gave the opportunity to purchase some items more suited to our budget. Burano is full of touristy shops but the walk through the streets was most enjoyable. Better quality and better priced souvenirs at both islands, compared to Venice proper. The boat rides were very relaxing. If you want to give yourself more time to see the islands, skip the showrooms after the demonstrations.

Amazing tour. Long time walking and standing so I strongly recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Highly recommend this tour

It was a two part tour, visiting the sites and then the going to the church and palace in St Mark's square. The tour was nice as was the weather. The church visit was good and very informative with a little free time to wander and enjoy the view from the observation deck locate up a few stories along the front and side. Breathtaking views. Skip the line was tremendous as the lines for both attractions was long. The tour of the Palace was long and for me too informative but for many it was a trip back in time. We had a break and then joined another guide for our boat rides to Murano and Burano. We visited one of the many glass factories and saw glass blowing and then had the opportunity to walk outside the grounds or spend time shopping within their store. It was interesting. Then the boat went to Burano and it was late in the day. We were shown lace products being woven in one of the many stores. That too was interesting and we had time to walk around the quaint streets and grab a bite to snack on. many places were closing but the advantage to the late afternoon arrival was the low number of tourists so we were able to move along leisurely. I have only praises for the tour, its guides and Viator as the seller. When I made this reservation I got enough insight into the tour that I knew it would be good. It was great having the tour pre-arranged and I had time prior to scout out the meeting location.

Both tours were fantastic! Different guides morning and afternoon but equally knowledgeable and informative. Really good value and the skip the line was worth every penny judging by the queues! Highly recommend both elements of the day.

Our guide for the Venice walking tour fantastic. The group was a comfortable size and the pace was appropriate. The island tour was good with free time but less input from the guide which was OK given the sights we saw glass blowing was narrated by the person hosting us. Busy but very enjoyable day. It created memories that will last a lifetime! We would highly recommend this one day tour.
